Nick
served in the military for 24 years. His service career included
flying as aircrew and also as an instructor on the highly
acclaimed School of Combat Survival and Rescue (SCSR). As
a survival instructor in the military and as a committed mountaineer,
Nick has had much experience in operating in very remote areas.
He became a qualified instructor in Arctic, Jungle, Desert
& Sea survival.
Nick
now lives and works in the English Lake District (with his
two ecentric collies, Jack & Keld) as a freelance outdoor
instructor and First Aid trainer. He is a member of the Faculty
of Pre Hospital Care (Cumbria) and has a real interest in
remote emergency care. He continues to go on every course
possible to find out more about remote trauma management!
Nick
continues to enjoy most outdoor activities including climbing,
kayaking, canoeing and mountain biking. As a Mountain Rescue
Team member he regularly attends callouts to help provide
assistance to members of the public.
