Jason Comber
I have been involved with First Aid activities for over 20 years, initially by attending an Outdoor First Aid through for the purpose of achieving my ML Award, and was keen in the active nature of these courses.
I am involved with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and am Award Manager of a Volunteer Operating Authority that provides Bronze, Silver & Gold Expeditions to over 400 young people each year, and therefore, I have a great interest in trekking and walking, and in the development of the young people and those who support them.
Professionally, I am a HCPC registered paramedic, being a national IHCD paramedic tutor, ALS Instructor and work very closely with Universities in the North West developing Paramedic Programmes and support Student Paramedics in practice. Additionally I am North West Council Member of the College of Paramedics, and am keen to develop this profession further, but never losing sight of the basics!!
Above all else, I am a very strong believer that First Aid Training should be fun, practical, informative and enjoyable – please join us!!
