About First Aid Academy Ltd

First Aid Academy Ltd is a specialist organisation approved to run courses that fulfill the Heath and Safety at Work regulations.

First Aid Academy works with an OfQual approved Awarding Body, to deliver nationally recognised Outdoor/Mountain First Aid and Sports First Aid courses.

With the withdrawal of the Health and Safety Executive from the approval of first aid training, we feel it is in our clients best interest to have an accredited award. Therefore, we shall be delivering all First aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work qualifications through our Awarding Bodies, and Association of First Aid Qualifications.  In Scotland these courses are accredited by the SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority). In England, Wales and Northern Ireland these courses are accredited by OfQual and listed on the RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework).

Our courses and supplies are competitively priced. Certificates are valid for three years.

The Academy is an approved provider for the QNUK. This allows First Aid Academy to deliver a range of nationally accredited first aid courses. QNUK certificates the First Aid Academy training courses and supports the rigorous monitoring of our trainers to enable us to work to the highest standards.

Employers need assurance that they have selected an appropriate training provider. Employers will therefore need to check that training providers meet the standards in a number of areas (due diligence). All training providers should be prepared to demonstrate that they:

  • are competent to deliver first-aid training
  • have qualified trainers
  • teach relevant course content in the correct way
  • have the necessary quality assurance systems in place

When using First Aid Academy Ltd you will not need to do any due diligence to satisfy yourself of their competence.

First Aid Academy Ltd operates under awarding organisations who are recognised by qualification regulators (Ofqual, and the Welsh Government) and have dedicated policies and quality assurance processes
